Official pages read on 2026-10-14
Short answer
Flirtfordate's terms name a real Finnish company, Interactive Online Technologies Oy (registration 3200100-8, Vantaa). The same terms say Flirtfordate is not a dating or matchmaking service, that some profiles and messages may be run by the company or professional chat operators, and that paid chat uses Coins that are not refundable except where law requires. Flirtfordate looks like a dating site, so most people sign up hoping to meet someone. Its terms describe something else. Here is what they say, what we could check and what we could not.
What we could verify
- A named company with a registration number. The terms say the site is operated by Interactive Online Technologies Oy, registration number 3200100-8, Teknobulevardi 3-5, Vantaa, Finland. Many chat sites give less than that.
- A US affiliate for payments. The terms say payment processing and some services may go through Interactive Online Technologies Inc.
- An age rule. 18, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher.
- A support contact. The footer lists [email protected] and a Contacts page.
- Plain wording about what it is. The terms say it is not a dating or matchmaking service and does not facilitate in-person meetings.
What we could not verify
- Coin prices. The terms say they are shown only at checkout or at the point of use.
- The text that will show on your card statement.
- How many profiles are run by chat operators.
- The privacy policy, which we did not read, and how the site behaves in use, because we did not sign up.
Is Flirtfordate a scam?
The terms say in writing that some profiles and messages may come from the company or professional chat operators, and that conversations may be fictionalized or roleplay. People who feel cheated have usually bought Coins hoping for a real date. If you know up front that you are paying for chat as entertainment, you can decide with your eyes open.
Who it may suit and who should look elsewhere
May suit you if
- You want paid flirting chat as entertainment.
- You are fine with operators on the other side of some chats.
- You set a Coin budget before you buy.
Look elsewhere if
- You want to meet someone in person. The terms say the site does not arrange that.
- You want to see prices before you register.
- You expect refunds for Coins you did not use.
Before you buy Coins
- Decide your limit first and write it down.
- Check the Coin price at checkout, because the terms have no price list.
- Screenshot the package you buy and your first card statement line.
- Remember that deleting the account does not bring money back.
