Stripchat charges on your card: auto-refill, billing and what to check

Short answer

Stripchat sells tokens in advance and can keep your card on file. The terms let it charge that card automatically, including through auto-refill, which tops up your balance when it falls below a threshold you set. You can switch auto-refill off in Settings at any time. The privacy policy names SegPay and CentroBill as payment service providers. The pages we read do not say what text appears on a card statement.

A Stripchat charge you did not expect usually comes from one of three things: auto-refill, a show that kept billing while you were away, or someone else using your card. This page goes through what the terms say about each one.

How you pay

You buy tokens in advance by credit or debit card or another available method. The terms say your payment details may be kept on file and authorize automatic charges to those details. Token prices are posted on the site and can change at any time, including for promotions, and the site may round prices.

Auto-refill

Auto-refill charges your last payment details when your token balance drops below a threshold you chose. It is easy to switch on and forget. The terms say you can opt out at any time in your account Settings. If you are not sure whether it is on, check now rather than after the next statement.

Shows keep billing until you leave

Group, private and spy shows are billed per second or per minute in tokens. The terms say you have to leave the show to stop the billing. Closing the laptop lid is not the same as leaving, so exit the show first.

What shows on your statement

The privacy policy names SegPay and CentroBill as payment service providers. The terms and privacy policy we read do not give the exact text that appears on a card statement, so we cannot confirm which name you will see. If you need certainty, the billing support link in the site footer is the place to ask.

A charge you do not recognise

  1. Search your email, including spam, for a Stripchat receipt or account email around the charge date.
  2. Ask anyone who uses your card or your devices. Token purchases are quick and easy to forget.
  3. If you have an account, log in and check the purchase history and whether auto-refill is on.
  4. If none of that explains it, call your card provider. Our guide on charges you do not recognise has the full checklist.

The terms ask you not to report a charge as unauthorized unless you have a good faith reason to believe it was. If the charge really was not yours, that is exactly the case your bank is there for.

Closing the account

The privacy policy says you can delete your account at any time, after which the data is no longer accessible to you, and that requests go to [email protected]. Deleting the account does not bring back tokens, so read the refund page first if that matters to you.

Questions and answers

Does Stripchat charge my card automatically?

It can. The terms authorize automatic charges to the payment details on file, and the auto-refill option charges your last payment details when your token balance drops below a threshold you set.

How do I turn off Stripchat auto-refill?

The terms say you can opt out of auto-refill at any time in your account Settings.

What does Stripchat look like on a bank statement?

The pages we read do not give the statement text. The privacy policy names SegPay and CentroBill as payment service providers, but we could not confirm which name appears on a statement. The billing support link in the site footer can tell you.

Who processes Stripchat payments?

The privacy policy names SegPay and CentroBill as payment service providers.

Are Stripchat token prices fixed?

No. The terms say token prices are posted on the site, can change at any time, including for promotions, and may be rounded.

I see a Stripchat charge I did not make. What first?

Search your email for receipts, ask anyone who uses your card or devices, and check the account's purchase history and auto-refill setting. If nothing explains it, call your card provider.

Can I delete my Stripchat account?

Yes. The privacy policy says you can delete your account at any time, after which your data is no longer accessible to you. Requests go to [email protected].

Can I dispute a Stripchat charge with my bank?

If the charge was not yours, yes, talk to your card provider. The terms ask you not to report a charge as unauthorized unless you have a good faith reason to believe it was. We are not lawyers, and your bank's rules apply.
