Stripchat refund: can you get your tokens back?

Short answer
Only in narrow cases. Stripchat's terms leave refunds to the operator's discretion and name two situations: a technical problem that took your tokens, and a private show that was provably unsatisfactory and that you ended as soon as you could. Most people who search for a Stripchat refund have either lost tokens to a glitch or regret a private show. The terms cover both, but the door is narrow, and the decision is the operator's. Here is what the text says and how to give your request the best chance.
The two cases the terms mention
- A technical problem. If a technical fault on the site took your tokens, the terms allow a refund at the operator's discretion.
- A private show that went wrong. If a private show was provably unsatisfactory and you left it as soon as possible, a refund is also possible, again at the operator's discretion.
Notice the two conditions in the second case. "Provably" means you need something to show, and "as soon as possible" means staying in the show for another ten minutes works against you. Shows are billed per second or per minute, so every minute you stay is a minute you paid for.
What is never refunded
- Tips. The terms say tips are not refunded in any case.
- Tokens after a ban. If your access is ended because you broke the terms, unused tokens are not refunded.
- Tokens in a dormant account. The terms say tokens in an inactive account can be forfeited. They do not give a number of days in the text we read.
How to ask for a refund
- Before you close anything, take screenshots: your token balance, the show you were in and the time.
- Write down what went wrong in one or two sentences. Short and factual works better than angry.
- Contact support through the Support or billing support links in the site footer. The privacy policy gives [email protected] for data requests and complaints.
- Keep every reply. If the answer is no, you have a record of what you asked and when.
Before you go to your bank
The terms ask you not to report a charge as unauthorized unless you have a good faith reason to believe it was. A purchase you made yourself and later regret is not an unauthorized charge. The $100 line
The terms cap the operator's liability at $100. That is a limit on what they accept they could owe you under the terms, not a promise to pay it. Whether a cap like this holds in your country is a question for your local consumer rules.
