Lizalive review: what it is and what its terms say

Lizalive is a live video and gifts app, not a dating site. Its terms name a company in Nicosia, Cyprus, set the age at 18 and call sales of Coins and Gifts final. They also show Coin prices only at checkout, which is the part we would not skip past.

How Lizalive works, according to its terms
Accounts and age
You must be 18 or older. The privacy policy says data of under-18s found on the service will be deleted.
Live streaming and chat
The terms describe user-generated live streaming and chat. They say other users' views do not represent the company's, so what people say about themselves is not verified by the platform in the terms we read.
Coins and gifts
Paid features run on virtual Coins used to buy virtual gifts. Coins have no cash value and work only on Lizalive. The price of Coins is shown only at the point of purchase.
Moderation
The company can remove or screen content and employs teams to detect misuse. The terms include a statement that performers must be 18 or older, and the privacy policy mentions a face-recognition video used only for verifying and not retained on servers.
Paying
Major credit cards, certain debit cards and other methods may be offered, charged in US dollars unless another currency is offered. Payment partners may ask for ID, legal name, address and date of birth.
Leaving
Delete your account in the app or by email. Deletion is permanent. The company may keep some location, device and usage data for a reasonable period for legal, safety and fraud reasons.
Three things people often miss
- Price comes last. You see Coin prices only at the point of purchase, so decide your limit before you register.
- Sales are final. Refunds are limited to technical issues with the purchase, fraudulent purchases or where the law requires.
- Deletion is not total. Some data may be kept for legal, safety and fraud reasons, and an unresolved balance or dispute can stop deletion.
Decision rules
- If your goal is to meet someone in person, start with a classic dating site for your country.
- If you want live video and chat, set a monthly limit first and start with the smallest purchase.
- If refunds matter most, compare Lizalive with IsLive before you pay.
- If you are under 18, do not register.
Our take. Lizalive is easy to describe and hard to price. The terms are clear about who runs it, how old you must be and how to leave, and quiet about what you will actually pay. We would not buy anything before seeing the price screen, and we would not spend a cent we had not budgeted.
